Walking is very popular with some excellent places to go. There is the well marked coastal path,and using a good map or one of the many guides available many different places can be visited on foot.

If you prefer something more organised the is a well known windsurfing school nearby. Coverack Windsurfing Centre has been established for more than 22 years and has everything needed for beginners and experts alike. Certified to the highest safety standards, the courses at CWC can teach you the basics or qualify you to RYA standards.The centre is an RYA recognised teaching establishment.
Other places of interest in the area are the gardens at Trebah, by the Helford river, it makes a nice day trip to cross over on the Helford ferry and walk to the gardens, which are famous for their display of Camelias and Rhodedendron. Another place not to be missed is the National Maritime Museum in Falmouth which houses one of the largest and most interesting collections of boats under one roof, an ideal visit for a damp day.
